James Quach, ATC, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from the University of the Pacific. He successfully completed his Sports Medicine internship with Ergo Rehab and the San Jose Sabre Cats. As a student at University of the Pacific he covered Women’s Basketball, Swimming, Baseball, Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Volleyball, and Softball. He was also on the medical staff for the East-West Shrine game, US MotoGP, Charlie Wedemeyer All Star Football Game, SBS Sturgeons (Chinese Basketball Association) and Nike Combine. James has developed a successful Athletic Training/Sports Medicine program at Saint Mary’s to provide athletic training students an opportunity to observe and gain hands on experience.
James has extensive experience with Graston Technique, Manual Therapy, Soft Tissue, Facilitated Stretching, and Recognize Overtraining Athletes. He has completed seminars and workshops in upper and lower extremity evaluation, nutrition, concussion assessment. James has implemented Concussion Baseline Testing, Balance Baseline Testing, and working directly with the administration to provide concussed student athletes proper Return to Learn support.
