08: Math Prep Workshop for Eighth Graders at 8:30 to 11:30 a.m Click here to register
Much of the anxiety of taking the HSPT test is focused on the math and the quantitative skills sections. In response, Saint Mary’s has decided to provide a basic math review workshop. This optional workshop will provide eighth graders the opportunity to review basic math skills, practice with timed testing, and get a few hints on how to approach the math and quantitative sections of the HSPT test.
This workshop and review is not strategy based. It is a review of basic math and pre-algebra skills. We cannot guarantee that math scores on the HSPT will improve if you enroll your child in this workshop, but it is an opportunity to review and understand the types of problems that most likely will be on the HSPT
